Mission Hills is an upscale affluent neighborhood and strolling through the historic neighborhoods is a joy. Beautiful homes with immaculate, mature landscaping line quiet streets that wind along undulating hills and canyons. But it is the unique homes that make this neighborhood special, often carefully preserved and restored and dating from the 1908-1930 period, many showcasing Vernacular, Craftsman, Prairie School and Spanish Colonial Revival styles. If mid-century design is more your taste, famous architects such as Lloyd Ruocco, Homer Delawie, John Lloyd Wright and Sim Bruce Richards have made their mark on Mission Hills and excellent examples remain from the 1950s and 1960s.
With views of Old Town, downtown, and San Diego Bay, everything nice about San Diego is just minutes away.
